Company Debuts Styles For 2017 and Unveils Plans for New Production Line

ATLANTA, GA - December 28, 2016 - Hanwha Surfaces, the American subsidiary of the international conglomerate Hanwha L&C, will be returning to KBIS, the nation’s largest Kitchen & Bath Trade Show taking place January 10-12 in Orlando, Florida at booth W1783. In addition to exhibiting new products from its acclaimed HanStone Quartz and Hanex Solid Surfaces brands, the surfacing manufacturer is announcing an unprecedented expansion including a state-of-the-art production line debuting in 2017.

Due to popular demand, the company’s HanStone Quartz brand is expanding its signature marble-inspired Cascina Collection with the addition several newcomers, including Brava, Marfil, Nova Bisque and Empress. Additionally, there will be several HanStone concept colors on display. The company’s versatile Hanex Solid Surfaces will also be showcasing its veining capabilities with 7 new colors from the recently released Stratum Collection.

During the summer of 2017, Hanwha will launch a second production line featuring a robotic arm that will create more customized deep veining, swirling and marbling, helping to change the perception of quartz across the industry. This new technology will allow the company’s engineers to have real time updates on the manufacturing process and greatly increase the efficiency of quartz production. Additionally, the new Breton machines will increase Hanwha’s North American production to 100,000 slabs a year and add over 80 jobs to the company’s London, Ontario factory.
